InStyler Reviews The InStyler Rotating Hot Iron

Updated on October 14, 2012

A Picture Of Our InStyler

The InStyler And How It Works

Chances are you have seen the InStyler on TV hundreds of times as well as all over the internet. The InStyler by Tre Milano is the newest way to straighten and style your hair. to quote there own promotions: It's not a brush. It's not a flat iron. It's not a curling iron. It's the InStyler rotating hot iron!

So how does it work?  As you run the InStyler rotating hot iron through your hair, the first set of bristles gently sort and separate your hair strands. Then the rotating heated polishing cylinder gently glides over your hair, smoothly polishing, straightening, and styling each strand. Finally, the second set of bristles puts the finishing touch on your hair, leaving you with shiny, silky, hair! It's truly amazing!

With all the air time the InStyler has been getting it peaked my wife's interest. She and a friend from work were going to get it but just never did. Still every time the commercial came on she would say "I have to get that" .So procrastination helps me with a great gift idea, score one for me ;). Instead of just sticking with tradition this seemed like the perfect Valentines gift (along with some other typical valentines traditions). She has been talking about this literally for over a year now so I knew this would be a great surprise. So I ordered the Instyler and needless to say she, and my 4 year old who wants everything mommy does, was very happy. So now the question is, how well does it work. Read on below for my review as well as some videos from real people reviewing the InStyler. Also there are some instructional videos below to give you a better idea of how this works.

InStyler Reviews

OK, the big question is does the InStyler do everything it claims. Well so far it has worked like a charm for my wife. She tried it out the first day on herself and even did my daughters hair. The both came out looking great. My 4 year old daughter loved her new hair as well. So 2 positive Instyler reviews from my girls.

The first big plus with the InStyler is that it saves time. Both my wife and daughter have very thick, curly hair and she was able to straighten her own in less then half the time it would normally take her with a flat iron. Th InStyler heats up very quickly and because of the way the rotating part and brush work together, it did the job much quicker then a flat iron would.

Another great thing about her hair being done quicker is it did not get as hot which means doing much less damage to your hair. Again this is a big plus because you want to keep your hair as healthy as possible. The last thing you want is that over burnt hair look that some people get from too much straightening or one too many perms.

The InStyler is really easy to use. I have heard people worry if the moving parts make using the InStyler more complicated because but it is really simple. If I had hair I could even work it lol;)

Bottom line the wife loves it and prefers it over her flat iron. It's quicker, does a nicer job and is much less abusive to her hair.

I have seen some complaints on other Instyler reviews but most are just not really knowing how the product works. I have heardof the InStyler the smoking. The smoking is from the product that you put in your hair before use. It's not so much smoking as it is steaming.

My wife didn't notice it but another thing people mention is a slight smell. I was watching her for a while and didn't smell anything and neither did she but again this has more to do with what you have in your hair and not the actual InStyler..
