Happy Nappers - What Are They?

Happy Nappers are one of the hottest toys around today. They are a combination stuffed animal and pillow. A lot of people compare Happy Nappers to Pillow Pets and although very similar they do have some differences. Some have called Happy Nappers a rip off of the Pillow Pets but as far as I am concerned they are still 2 different toys.

There are a total of 6 Happy Nappers characters available and they are, Monkey in a Hut, Ladybug in a Bungalow, Penguin in an Igloo, Dog in a dog house, Unicorn in a palace and a Dragon in a castle. The Monkey is a new addition and has replaced the cow in the barn which is no longer available. Basically to change your Happy Nappers from stuffed animal to home/pillow, you unzip your Happy Napper from the back and tuck it inside to form the characters home which is the soft pillow and vice versa. There is also a doorbell on the home that makes a special sleeping sound to match your Happy Nappers Character.

All you have to do is turn on any childrens show and your sure to see the Happy Nappers commercial. Kids know the Happy Nappers jingle by heart as well and will sing a long with the commercial. There is even a Happy Nappers ringtone available for phones.

These are sure to be a huge Holiday seller as well. During the Holiday season of 2010 Pillow pets were very popular and almost impossible to find. People were paying up to $100 for a Pillow Pet on eBay and sometimes they were getting knock off products. From he looks of things this may be the case with Happy Nappers for this Holiday season.

The Original Happy Nappers Commercial

Happy Nappers - My Personal Experience

Happy Nappers came out a little over a year ago. When I first saw the commercial on TV my daughter immediately said she wanted one but, that is her reaction to almost everything so I just said OK and figured that would be it. Now they were being advertised on a regular basis and now my daughter is singing the Jingle and still saying she really wants a Happy Nappers Unicorn so I tell her we will see for her birthday.

Now I honestly thought these were going to fail as a Pillow Pet wanna be but they were still being advertised so it looked like the company would be around a while. Now my daughter also has Pillow Pets and loves them so next was to check in to what people were saying about Happy Nappers.

There were some mixed reviews as you will find with any product but the general consensus was kids loved their Happy Nappers. At the time there was a problem with shipping times but this was more due to growing pains for the company, I don't think they were prepared to be as busy as they were so quickly. Another problem is people didn't read the shipping time which clearly stated 4-6 weeks as did the TV commercial.

So with the only real complaint about Happy Nappers being about the shipping time I ordered my daughters Happy Nappers Unicorn a little over a month from her birthday. I was very pleasantly surprised to have the package arrive at my door 5 days later. Now my only problem was keeping it hidden for the next month.

When my daughters birthday finally arrived she was EXTREMELY happy to get her Happy Nappers Unicorn. She still sleeps with it every night, along with her Pillow Pets so they all get along ;) . Months later and she will still thank me for getting her the Happy Nappers Unicorn so for me it was without a doubt one of the best purchases I have made for her to date. We may be looking at adding the Monkey to her collection this Christmas.

The Best place to buy Happy Nappers right now is on Amazon! They have all the characters and are the best deal around!
